研究生助学金

While many students are only eligible for student loans to help pay for the summer term, we encourage you to contact your graduate department to learn if there are any institutional aid opportunities available for summer.

 

The summer aid application is now available!

All students who are interested in receiving aid for the summer quarter must submit a summer financial aid application:

  1. 登录MyDU.
  2. Click on the "Summer 金融援助 应用程序" link in the 金融援助 Information widget on your dashboard.
  3. 选择 2023-2024援助年 从下拉菜单中.
  4. Go to the "Resources/Additional Information" tab.
  5. Scroll down, indicate how many credits you plan to take, 和 submit.

You'll receive an email with information about your summer aid eligibility once an advisor reviews your request. Because of the extremely high volume of applications we receive (especially in March 和 April), please allow up to 3-4 weeks for processing.

  • 机构的援助

    For information about departmental scholarships or grants for the summer, please contact your graduate department directly. Departmental aid is often unavailable over the summer.

  • 学生贷款

    To receive federal aid for the summer term, you must have submitted the 2023-2024 Free 应用程序 for Federal Student 援助 (FAFSA) 和 be enrolled in at least 4 credit hours.

    直接无补贴贷款: 如果符合条件，你将获得一份 直接无补贴贷款. Summer is considered the last term of the academic year, so if you've already borrowed the full $20,500 in an Unsubsidized loan over the previous quarters/semesters of the academic year, you will be ineligible for any additional Unsubsidized loan funds in the summer. 然而, you may be eligible to borrow a Graduate PLUS or private loan to help finance the cost of the summer term.

    毕业生PLUS贷款: 如果你借了 毕业生加分贷款 previously in the academic year, you will be offered this loan again for the summer term. Once accepted, the Department of Education will perform a credit check before it can be guaranteed. You will need to pass this credit check or have a credit-worthy endorser to receive this loan.

    If you have not previously borrowed a 毕业生加分贷款, 但总共借了20美元,500 in a 直接无补贴贷款 for the 2022-23 academic year, you may apply for a 毕业生加分贷款 to help finance your summer courses. 透过网上申请 Student援助.政府. You will need to pass a credit check, or have a credit-worthy endorser, to receive this loan.

    民办教育贷款: If you'll be enrolled in fewer than 4 credits, you can apply for a 私人教育贷款 directly with the lender of your choice. 申请私人贷款时, please be sure to use a loan period of 6/15/2024 - 8/26/2024 for the summer quarter, or 5/28/2024 - 7/28/2024  for the summer semester, 新MG线上电子游戏应用程序.

  • 勤工助学

    Work-study employment will end on June 13, 2024, for the 2023-24 academic year (May 16th for law students). If you are offered work-study for the 2024-25 academic year, you may begin working as early as July 1, 2024.
